By Thickburger, this paternal sister to 18F-15V was champion ewe at the 2016 Big Ohio Sale for Prairieland Farms. Thickburger had worked successfully for several years in the Williams Southdown (Misti) Flock in Illinois, when we brought him back last spring to breed Vision daughters for fall lambs.

The maternal granddam of 18F-15V, Langer 13-V, passed on her good breed type color, depth of body and sound structure.

Langer 13-V was Reserve Grand for Jenna Langer at the 2014 Midwest Regional Jr. Show.

MB Genetics 8F-4V4, maternal great-granddam of 18F-15V, shows that beautiful breed type, spring of rib and deep flank that has continued down through the "V" ewe family. She was Supreme Ewe at the Wisconsin Sheep & Wool Festival in 2009 and 2010.

Tim Fleener was judging the open Southdown show and his interview is from 17:17 to 20:44. Ag Director Brian Bolan was interviewed with the open Southdown show going on in the background. You can hear him at 27:14 to 30:15. Open Show superintendent Barb Bishop focused on the Southdown breed from 35:14 to 40:50.
