Wisconsin State Fair Jr Southdown Show 2012

Congratulations to Jenna Langer on multiple awards with her bred & owned yearling ewe, Jenna 11-J3.  Sired by Keystone, she is out of MB Genetics 9-6-3, an Ambush x The Edge daughter that she purchased as a futurity lamb. She also won the second class of yearling ewes at the All-American/National Jr. Show in Des Moines last month.  At the Wisconsin State Fair this ewe was Champion Southdown ewe and Champion bred & owned Southdown ewe, Grand Champion bred & owned ewe over all breeds, Reserve Supreme bred & owned sheep, and Reserve Grand Champion Ewe of the entire show.
Also congratulations go to Dathan Smerchek for Reserve Champion Southdown Ram, Champion Bred & Owned Southdown Ram, and Reserve Grand Bred & Owned Ram over all breeds with his fall ram sired by MB Genetics 8F-JC2.  Kelsi Smerchek had Reserve Champion Southdown ewe with MB Genetics XF-EM.  There were 74 head in the Jr. Southdown show.  Judge was Eric Shellhouse.      Click on photo for full view.
